Response To Likening Caucasian Groups to the KKK

Racial discord, or discourse
Wednesday, March 29, 2006 1:11 AM PST
Dear editor,
It was a surprise when my sister from Napa told me about Mr. Reza's March 23 response, "A dangerous kind of club," to the young woman in eighth grade who experiences reverse racism in her school. In a perfect world, we'd all be color-blind, but since that is not the case, I think the girl has a legitimate question.
For Mr. Reza to compare all Caucasians to the Ku Klux Klan is absurd, and that you would give voice to this blatant slander is quite despicable, unless of course it matches your editorial view.
Is it your intention to foment racial discord or racial discourse? Having lived through the Richmond riots in the '60s, I can assure you that racial division is not something we should be promoting.
