Barack Obama's Global Tax Proposal Up for Senate Vote

A nice-sounding bill called the "Global Poverty Act," sponsored by Democratic presidential candidate and Senator Barack Obama, is up for a Senate vote on Thursday and could result in the imposition of a global tax on the United States. The bill, which has the support of many liberal religious groups, makes levels of U.S. foreign aid spending subservient to the dictates of the United Nations.

What do most of the Democrats think we are.... the doormats for the world? Hillary Clinton wanted this tax a long time ago. We have enough to take care of right here in this country. How about preserving jobs for U.S. Citizens and stopping all the outsourcing of jobs and productivity to other countries? I'm beginning to think that there is a major Socialist/Marxist influence that is operative in the Democratic Party. So many of them want to bend over backwards for every other country but our own. And this belief of open borders that they harbor is something that would have been welcomed by Karl Marx. Well, Hill-Billary (we do get them both, you know) did support the outsourcing of jobs and productivity to India and to Communist China, the latter of which paid us back in tainted goods. And Hill-Billary wants to take things away from Americans for the common good! We'd better start paying attention to the motives of these people. Something's awry when they put their own citizens last in line!
