Cocoa police have arrested a man in connection with the stabbing death of his roommate.

Edgardo Cruz Colorado, 26, is charged with first-degree murder in the death of Edwin Giovani Queuedo-Perez. They both lived at 1044 Myrtle Lane.

Witnesses told police the men argued over a broken window Sunday night. Colorado wanted Perez to pay for the damage, police said. During the argument, Colorado went to the kitchen, got a large knife and stabbed Perez in the chest, police said.
