Illegals won’t seek tax ID number

Illegals won’t seek tax ID number

Okay, so our state treasurer is guilty of the same mistakes made all too often by executives. That of trusting staff members to provide accurate data and information. In most cases the data and information is accurate, but occasionally it has not been properly vetted. As is the case with Sarah Steelman’s statement. However, I have some questions about the News-Leader’s data.

Show of hands now. Who really believes illegal immigrants, who are afraid of being discovered and deported, are actually going to apply for a tax ID number? How many Missouri taxpayers, unless they are self-employed, have tax ID numbers other than their Social Security number? Who really believes the Social Progressive propaganda that “many of those illegal immigrants are paying taxesâ€

Don't forget the prepaid charge cards. I seen a guy who was having problems speaking english put 4,000 on one. He had problems asking if they were good in Mexico. He wanted to send it home to his family he said . All this untaxed money leaving our country to Mexico needs to be taxed. what a bunch of free loaders. We have a new building going up down the road a commercial one there must be 50 Hispanics working on it. Maybe 2 Americans that I could see.

    Illegals won't seek

Millions of illegal workers have already applied for the ITIN numbers. It is their hope to use the documentation when AMNESTY is awarded again. McCain's bill would have made these folks eligible for Social Security based on illegal earnings.

If you don't believe me, you should read the bill.

Check the IRS gov site. It says you can file a return with an ITIN/Social Security number mismatch. So even if an illegal worker has an ITIN, they must claim wages using a Social Security number. Remember-it is supoosed to be illegal to work without a VALID SS #.
The Social Security office used to send out mismatch notices to employers whose employee SS # did not match SS records. A court order has stopped that. I read somewhere, but can not verify that the 8 MILLION mismatched numbers are being used by ITIN filers.

No wonder we have an ID THEFT problem.
