BEWARE OF NON COMPREHENSIVE IMMIGRATION REFORM
Wolf Blitzer of CNN just mentioned something about the passage of the "DREAM ACT" and other small measures being taken.
Dick Durbin will not let that rest - illegal aliens on a pathway to citizenship and taking the slots of American youth
There are other things that could come up on their own or attached to some other piece of legislation.
We had better be on the look out
Jeremiah 29:11Matthew 19:26
But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.

I agree we need to be alert. We also need to make them enforce the immigration laws we have. Elvira must go and so do the rest. I don't think they completely got that part of our message.

Beware of Non Comprehensive Immigration Reform
The commnentator on "The News Hour with Jim Lehrer" was just saying that this will mean that the following groups will now be pushing heavily for separate legislation on:
1. An agricultural workers program. H.R. 371, the "Agricultural Job Opportunities, Benefits, and Security ('AG-JOBS') Act of 2007" was introduced into the House by Rep. Howard Berman of California on 01/10/2007. The Senate companion bill is S. 237. This bill would allow illegal alien farm workers to obtain a "blue card" granting 'temporary' legal status for themselves AND their families if they could show they have worked in the U.S. for at least 863 hours or 150 work days (or roughly the equivalent of one summer). The "AG-JOBS" agricultural worker amnesty was contained in S. 1348/S. 1639, but will probably now be pushed to the forefront as this or similar separate legislation.
2. More skilled workers for firms such as those in Silicon Valley. These are covered by-called "SKIL Bill(s)". One was defeated last year, but was reintroduced by TX Sens. John Cornyn and Kay Bailey Hutchison as S. 1083 on 04/10/2007. S. 1083 was later withdrawn, but look for it or a similar bill to be reintroduced soon - these increases in legal skilled worker visas were also a part of S. 1348/S. 1639.Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)
