Cross the white picket fence of the Minutemen offices in Tombstone, Ariz. and you're immediately aware that the federal government denied the local media mogul his constitutional right to bear arms. And, the sign on the front door adds, “ Minutemen founder Chris Simcox trains his infrared scope on the border. BEWARE of his armed bodyguard who is still exercising his second amendment rights.�

"What can I do for you?" asks the wiry, nervous Chris Simcox with a boyish smile, the leader and founder of the Minutemen volunteer border patrol I visited late last summer. When my local guides told him we were there to ask him about his Minuteman work, he seemed suddenly to move to the beat of media personality mode. Dressed in jeans, a t-shirt and a baseball cap, he swaggers into the tour of the home of the Tombstone Tumbleweed, one of the main papers in this former mining town. The Tumbleweed also doubled as the command center of a movement whose members trace their gun-wielding brand of frontier justice to Wyatt Earp, Doc Holliday and other heroes of the OK Corral, a movement that has garnered media attention far beyond the 1,200 person circulation (Tombstone's population is 1,504) of California-born Simcox's successful newspaper.

He begins the walk-through by pointing to several snapshots on the wall, photos of Latino immigrants tied up and looking like nervous chickens I've seen in crowded, colorful markets they left in the poorer, war-ridden parts of Mexico and Central America.

"Those are pictures of some of the illegals we caught and handed over to immigration," says Simcox, as if proudly displaying the deer heads adorning more than a few of the homes in the gun and Harley-heavy Tombstone that calls itself "The Town Too Tough to Die."

Some civil rights organizations report that the Minutemen have pistol-whipped and, perhaps, even shot, migrants they encounter.

I keep seeing the same old overused knee-jerk rhetoric that shows a lack of thought or knowledge about the subject matter being written about.

What does the term mean?

Then, I ponder, what "race" are the Minutemen targeting?

Could it be the human race? Of what race do the invaders belong?

Perhaps the term "ethnicity" should be used but the label "ethnicist" doesn't carry the negative connotatitons that "racist" does.

By golly gosh..... maybe the writer of that article should be informed that his tactics are exactly what Goerbels of Nazi Germany fame recommended to convince the masses of ignorant humans to believe in the manner the writer/propagandist desires.

Roberto Lovato is a buffoon, in my never humble opinion. I must admit, tiring of the same same same same drivel being spewed by the pro-invader crowd that my liver would quiver with unadulterated delight if a drunk-driving illegal crossed the centerline and sent the idiotic writer to his eternal reward. Again, the term "poetic justice" enters my thoughts.

I assume that Roberto is a legal citizen of the USA. Reading the idiotic scrawlings of the ignoramus I, again, witness how the invading ethnicity/culture AGAIN places their ethnicity above loyalty to nationality.

Well, I gotta' mosey off to find a way to e-mail Roberto to lambast the idiot. Sometimes I offer to meet the enemies of my country at a charity boxing match, conducted by all local regulations with the intent of raising money for the winner's charity of choice. I have done the same with the vermin Congress critters representing my area; Chuck "loves all illegals since I am a multimillionaire not harmed by illegals" Hagel and Lee "I am a lawyer whose wages are unaffected by the excess illegal labor supply" Terry. So far, not a single illegal alien-loving traitorous scum has taken up my generous offer. Heck, a charity boxing match would be great fun!!! I would select the Minutemen as my charity to give the donations to. Using the Web I would try to get as many patriots as possible to attend the gala event. All legal!!!! Alll laws and regulations followed. I wonder why not a SINGLE one of the pro-invader filth I have extended my generous offer to has agreed to the chance to put a... ahem "racist" such as I in his place while garnering pesos that could be used to assist the invaders they love so much.

Oh well.

Oh, by the way, something to consider, y'all. When the mentally deficient brainless tumors spew their "racist" label consider this:

Ask the idiots what race they are referring to then mention to the rhetoric-spewing simpletons that, if anything, you are a "culturalist"!!!!!!

YES!!!!! A culturalist. Wanting to defend your culture that has created a modern effective society that has proven itself in improving the lifestyle of a many humans on this planet.

From which country/society did so many labor-saving devices originate? How about modern medicines? Improved seed and agricultural methods? Now, look at the contributions by the invading culture. To what extent has those backwards cultures from "down south" assisted the lot of humanity? There are a very few individual contributions but, alas, not nearly as much as our culture.

So, yes, I am a culturalist. Don't like it? Could I interest thee in a charity boxing match so you can pummel me? The previous was a rhetorical question unless..... one of the pro-invaders happens to read this. If so and you wanna' go 15 rounds, you'll have to come to Omaha Nebraska.

this was the most incredibly biased article I have ever seen- entire paragraphs written to discredit 80 percent of the american people who are not happy with illegal immigration-

Then, followin the "trail," An e-mail address for Lovato appears. Heck, if the babbling buffoon puts an e-mail link on a Web page he must want mail!!!!!!

Well, that's what he got. Of course, no threats or naughty language and, when questioning the intelligence of the pro-law breaking critter I add the phrase, "In my opinion" or something similar.

I think this article was written to appeal to white liberals of middle and upper income- I havent noticed that many illegals read english all that well
Secondly it wasnt a news article or even journalism - it was an editoral diguised as journalism
