* Violence on our Southern border with Mexico continues
to rage. Gunmen threw a grenade and opened fire outside of a
television news station during its evening broadcast in
Monterrey, Mexico. They left a message warning journalists from
reporting on drug war violence. We will have a full report
tonight.

* Plus, will Senate Democrats allow Roland Burris to
fill President-elect Obama’s vacated senate seat? We will have
all of the latest developments tonight.

Radio
Lou’s nationally-syndicated talk radio show, The Lou Dobbs
Show, debuted this spring. Join us weekdays for news and
politics aimed at independent thinkers. Visit LouDobbsRadio.com

Joining Lou on Wednesday will be Congressman JIM MATHESON. The
Utah Democrat thinks automatic congressional pay raises need to
end, and he’ll talk about why he’s leading the fight to stop
them.

JONAH GOLDBERG, editor-at-large for National Review Online,
will weigh in on the Democrats’ decision to turn away Roland
Burris, who was appointed by embattled Illinois Gov. Rod
Blagojevich to fill the vacant Senate seat of President-elect
Barack Obama.

CAROL SWAIN, professor of political science and professor of
law at Vanderbilt University, will also discuss the Burris
matter, along with other political stories of the day.

And OpinionJournal.com’s JOHN FUND—the author of the book
Stealing Elections: How Voter Fraud Threatens Our
Democracy–will offer his thoughts on the latest developments in
the disputed Minnesota Senate race.
