American Border Patrol
Mexican Army Active
It was 0800 Friday morning when ABP's Border Hawk spotted the Mexican Humvee hiding under a railroad trestle east of Naco, Arizona (Satellite view), along a well-known smuggling route. Mexican officials have said their military is forbidden from traveling within three miles of the border.
At about 10 am Friday, the National Guard reported seeing a Mexican Military helicopter intruding into the U.S. near Fresnal Canyon. A Blackhawk helicopter was dispatched but arrived to find the Mexicans had retreated back across the border. A similar incident was reported at 2 p.m. the same day.

Road and Wall Work Stops
American Border Patrol reports that it has observed no active construction work on the Arizona and California borders with Mexico for the past two weeks. Aerial surveys show equipment parked all along the border, but nothing moving. ABP also reports that previously manned lookout posts near Naco, Arizona have been abandoned. Lookout posts have been spotted near Yuma and Nogales.
"I hope the media get on this and find out what is going on." said Glenn Spencer of ABP. Spencer also reported that illegal border traffic is very high around Naco, Arizona.
