Illegals Dumper Dive And Hack Computers To Steal Citizens' Identities

Idenity_theif A recent illegal immigration raid at a Raleigh North Carolina slaughterhouse is showing just how sophisticated, devious and efficient illegal aliens have become at stealing the identities of unsuspecting citizens.

All but four of the 29 illegals rounded up at Smithfield Foods Inc. largest hog processing plant had stolen the identities of Americans, according to Forbes.com.

The 25 illegals who had stolen identities pieced together information about their victims from various sources including scouring trash cans, computer hacking and even using phishing emails to obtain social security number and other personal information, says U.S. Attorney George Holding.

"It's an epidemic problem," Holding told Forbes.com.

Victims pay heavy price

Two citizen victims lost more than $10,00 because of the identity thefts, while another victim lost subsidized housing because of an increase income reported on his stolen Social Security number, according to a state prosecutor.

The investigation began last year when Immigration and Custom Enforcement officers examined Smithfield's employment records to identify whether the company was employing illegals.
