Over the last few months, you and millions of other concerned citizens rose up and told the U.S. Senate "NO MORE AMNESTIES!" It was a proud day for our nation because the American people reminded their elected official that we, the people, are in charge.

The Senate debate on immigration should have served as a powerful wake-up call to our Congress, but, amazingly, it appears that they still don't get it. Instead of recognizing the will of the American people, they have merely changed their tactics.

Now, they are trying a sneaky back-door strategy to add bits and pieces of the failed Senate amnesty bill to big spending bills, hoping their amnesty amendments will pass unnoticed.

They are hoping that the American people are too stupid to catch on or too lazy to keep fighting. Well, they are dead wrong on both counts. They aren't going to catch us sleeping, that's for sure.

U.S. Border Control is monitoring every move they make and telling our activists every dirty trick they try to pull. And the number of Americans opposing amnesty for illegal aliens is growing - not shrinking - every day.

But rather than asking you to try to fight every single one of these amendments, we felt it would be
better to let the Congress know, loud and clear, that their political futures are at stake if they continue down this dangerous path.

This email alert introduces our new national Take the Pledge campaign where, hopefully, millions of Americans will tell their Congressmen and Senators that they will vote against any elected official who votes for amnesty.

This is one campaign you definitely want to be a part of! We tried to make it as easy as possible. All you need to do to participate is:

The victory in the Senate demonstrates that there is strength in numbers, so the more people who Take the Pledge, the more likely that the Congress will finally get the message -- and close our borders to drugs, disease, terrorism and illegal aliens
