Law enforcement officials indicate that there are individuals coming across the border who are forced to leave their home countries because of criminal activities. These dangerous criminals are fleeing the law in other countries and seeking refuge in the United States.â€

I agree and yet out government does nothing but protect them. Police officers cannot do their jobs thanks to sanctuary cities and department lawyers who influence police department polices regarding illegal aliens. Last night my blood was boiling when an officer pulled a person over who was driving with an expired driver's license. The reason the license was expired was immigration. His visa expired in July of 2007 and yet he was still here. If he was arrested I think he should becharged with his offense and deported but because it was a misdemeanor he may be released and disappear while awaiting an immigration trial.
