US anti-immigration bill called racist
A Congressional bill that would tighten border controls and prevent illegal immigrants from getting jobs in the United States has been condemned by Caribbean immigration advocates as racist, discriminatory and unfair.
Chairman of the New York City Council on Immigration, Vincentian-born Dr. Kendall Stewart, said Caribbean and other minorities were unfairly singled out in the new push to curb immigration. {SO WHAT?}
Mr. Stewart urged the Bush administration to take a better look at immigration, rather than pinning blame on poor immigrants from the region and Latin America.
Just before the Christmas break, the US House of Representatives rushed through passage of the Border Protection, Anti-terrorism and Illegal Immigration Control Act of 2005.
The measure would combat the hiring of illegal workers by providing employers with a reliable method in determining whether employees are legally eligible to work in the country.
The Bush administration has proposed that undocumented immigrants be allowed to get three-year work visas.
Under Bush's plan, illegal immigrants could extend their visas for an additional three years.
However, they must return to their home countries for a year to apply for a new work permit. {Which we all know will never happen, they will never return home}Please support our fight against illegal immigration by joining ALIPAC's email alerts here https://eepurl.com/cktGTn

How about a business tax equal to 100% of the wages the business pays to illegal immigrant workers?
Perhaps if business had to pay something approaching the real cost of employing illegals, they might just find that paying higher wages to American citizens was the better economic choice.
Since this would punish the business, not the illegal, how could the OBL object?It's like hell vomited and the Bush administration appeared.

The business tax is a great idea. What the government should do is make an unlimited number of guest worker visas available (like Bush wants). Then let businesses buy them for a specific annual payment.
Let's say $12,000 a year for unskilled labor, $30,000 a year for programmers, etc. Plus $10,000 to $15,000 a year for each dependent visa. If they have an anchor baby, don't give them citizenship, instead charge the parents another $10,000 to $15,000 for an additional visa. Increase the amount every year for inflation.
Now, how do we get this idea introduced in the Senate?

HO HUM!!!
I think you have the BEST IDEA, Rebecca. We could have them rounded up in a month! Can't you just picture us out there on the streets making citizens' arrests???"POWER TENDS TO CORRUPT AND ABSOLUTE POWER CORRUPTS ABSOLUTELY." Sir John Dalberg-Acton

WE could probably simplify the round-up if we just told them we were giving away free SOMETHING--food, DONUTS (!!!), clothes or something that might appeal to them. We could rig up a BIG, BIG net and, while one of us was passing out the food, another one could PULL THE STRING, DROP THE NET and RUN TO THE PHONE to call ICE. Now, the PROBLEM with this little PLAN would be the fact that it would take several DAYS to get ICE so we MIGHT have just a MINOR PROBLEM keeping them entertained for several days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But, it we were getting $5000 per head, we could afford to thrown them a little food and water periodically. That way, we couldn't get arrested for VIOLENCE OR ABUSE!
