Illegal immigrants arrested in Calif.
Published: Apr. 5, 2007 at 12:17 AM
U.S. officials say they've arrested 350 illegal immigrants in Southern California over the past two weeks.
The Los Angeles Times says 50 of the people arrested in San Diego and Imperial counties have criminal records. Others were arrested for immigration violations.
While most of the immigrants are Mexican, people from 14 other countries, including Cambodia, Cuba and Israel were also arrested, the newspaper said.
Immigration officials said the arrests were part of Operation Return to Sender, which has resulted in more than 18,000 arrests since May 2006.

No such thing as an illegal cuban. If they touch soil without being picked up they get a green card. It is time for that law to be changed. We cannot continue to take in ever individual from a dictatorship.

How many of these people were deported, turned right around and came back in?
Build a fence, allow the border patrol to do its job unhindered, deport deport deport and make and enforce laws to fine employers and landlords, stop education and giving social services to illegals to encourage them.
We need a combined effort to make any real progress.

I agree. They have to fight their own battles in their own country. The whole world is not American.
