CASA GRANDE, AZ - There is a new push to keep our borders safe from drug smugglers and border crossers.

Arizona is cutting back the thick brush undocumented immigrants use to hide from border security along roads in the southern parts of the state. Officials believe smugglers and undocumented immigrants will stop coming if they cannot hide as easily.

A short walk along the roads near Casa Grande and you have to be careful not to trip over all of the things left behind by border crossers and smugglers.

Area resident John Fitchen pulled over to see what BLM was working on. As a frequent camper and hiker, he believes the government should come up with more creative solutions to the border problem instead of destroying the land he loves.

This guy needs to be shown the extensive damage that illegals have caused on the border, then repeat his statement.

And as far as the gooberment coming up with more creative solutions, it should be painfully obvious to this oblivious guy that the government does not do well at fixing things...
