Immigration is losing urgency as top issue
Immigration is losing urgency as top issue
Economy now principal issue

A poll by the Pew Hispanic Center suggests that even Latinos are pushing immigration down their list of priorities.
The December survey of 1,007 Latinos nationwide said only one in three people identified immigration as an extremely important issue. On a list of the nation’s most pressing issues that was led by the economy and followed by education, healthcare, national security and the environment, immigration ranked sixth.
“Immigration is very important, but it’s not as important as stabilizing the economy and the leadership of the country,â€

Unfortunately Jean, Obama delayed e-verify for another three months after his round table meeting with CEO's which means employers will have no incentive or requirement to verify social security numbers or citizenship status of those who apply for employment including stimulus jobs. These jobs would use federal contractors because they would be federally funded but again with no e-verify there will be no guarantee jobs would go only to US citizens. Napolitano also delayed a new law to strengthen I-9 verification further weakening e-verify and other enforcement measures. A CNBC reporter asked Biden if he will support e-verify to ensure jobs go only to Americans. Biden ignored him by not answering the question. This showed the real reason for this bs stimulus which will be a taxpayer subsidized illegal alien jobs and benefits giveaway perpetuating the cheap labor and open borders agenda.
There is no freedom without the law. Remember our veterans whose sacrifices allow us to live in freedom.
