CBP Assists with Apprehension of Individuals Smuggling Cubans into Mona Island

CBP Aircraft Caught "Red-Handed" a Vessel Dropping Off Cuban Aliens

Aguadilla, Puerto Rico – Caribbean Border Interagency Group (CBIG) federal authorities arrested two subjects of the Dominican Republic this morning after they were caught dropping off nine Cuban aliens in Mona Island last night.

The U.S. Attorney’s Office accepted to prosecute the cases of the two Dominican men for charges of smuggling aliens and for attempting to enter at a place other than as designated by immigration officers.
