Right after he won, we get to know the real Scott Brown. An article I wrote for Examiner.com.

    Here is the article:

Scott Brown: Oops, another RINO heads to Washington
    January 22, 4:45 PM
Sioux Falls Conservative Examiner Lori Stacey

He sounded too good to be true. It sounded like a good old boy Conservative driving a pickup truck actually had a chance to go to the US Senate. But when the shock wore off of his win, in this decade of voting machines that have been demonstrated to flip election results on a dime, I immediately began to get suspicious of how he could have been allowed to win. I mean how Conservative or Independent could he really be?

We did not even have to wait for all the ballots to be counted before seeing a couple of his news conferences and realize that another RINO was elected and on his way to Washington. That explains it all. First we were treated to his news conference with his good friend, John Kerry? Then an extended news conference with questions from the press broadcast on CSPAN where we learned that he believes the nation should have a government healthcare plan similar to his State of Massachusetts except with improvements??? If Republicans, Independents and Third Party voters were counting on him to block Socialized medicine for America in the US Senate, you have been officially duped by Scott Brown and the political machine behind the curtain.

I would much rather have sent our "blue dog" Democrat Representative in South Dakota, Stephanie Herseth Sandlin to the US Senate. I now believe she is probably more Conservative than the new US Senator from Massachusetts has possibly ever been.

This special election (show) is a perfect example of why I left the Republican Party a long time ago and joined a truly constitutionalist and conservative party, the Constitution Party. Millions of Americans will never vote for any major party candidate again unless they either know them personally or know that a major party emblem was the only way in our undemocratic election process that they could even get on the ballot.

I am happy to hear that he supposedly believes in term limits. I wonder how he feels about recalls?

    Don't be so naive.

Do you honestly think that even a Republican from Massachusetts could have gotten elected to state wide office if they hadn't voted for the Mass. Health care plan.

Get real - Republicans in the NE are not as conservative as ones from SD or Georgia. But honestly those Republican still will NOT support a government take-over of healthcare (Obamacare) or amnesty for IA's.

I think what Brown has to say about health care was on point - it is a state issue NOT A FEDERAL ONE. You cannot design a Federal issue as too many states have their own systems like Massachusetts.

Also Republicans even in the NE are more fiscally conservative than Democrat.

He was being polite to John Kerry - what did you want him to do, punch him in the face. He is the senior Senator. He has to be nice to him and agreeble.

It is more intelligent to work from within a party for change than to have a hissy-fit and go sulk in the corner and join a group that has no chance of going anywhere. Some people have not idea about the reality of politics.

You write like you have no sense about politics and reality at all.

Wow, so much for politeness on this forum.

I assure you that I know more about reality of politics than most Americans want to know. The truth is not at all good news for any of us.

As a Constitutionalist, I know that healthcare is supposed to be a State issue, but that is not what he explained in questions from the press in that video. He said exactly what I wrote. That the bill should be modeled after the MA plan and add improvements. He said that it should be rewritten with that in mind, NOT that it is a state issue and should not be done by Congress at all. That is what he said when being questioned.

Well I am not sure that legally you know much about the constitution. If you did you would be worrying more about the COmmerce Clause than anything else. I would expect that you have not even read the major court decisions over the centuries.

People who call themselves constitutionalist usually concentrate on a few clauses without bothering to read the WHOLE document, the history of its creation and the deabtes surrounding it (that requires some historical research which I suspect you don't know how to do)

I have run for politcal office, my father held politcal office and I know a great deal how politics works, both in public and in the back rooms.

You have only written a pile of junk bases on ill-done, and poorly researched and resourced material.

As for health care - we need to do something. We have a problem with Medicare, called going broke --we need to fix it -- we need to insist that Big Pharma gives US Citizens the same price for drugs that they give Europeans or insist they raise European prices etc. etc.

Scott Brown has already said that what works for Massachusetts may not work for every state but each state should create their own version. You need to learn how to read EVERYTHING and now just select that which suits your personal views.

    Judy,

You clearly don't know anything about me and continue to make a lot of incorrect and false statements. You do not know me and you are insulting. If this is how someone of ALIPAC's staff treats people, I will pull down all links to this organization.

To make such totally wrong assumptions about someone you know nothing about is truly ignorant.

So much for a moderator on this site. In the near future, history will prove that people such as yourself had no idea what they were talking about. The blind attacking people trying to tell the truth. Get a clue.

    SaveAmerica4u-Welcome to Alipac!

I don't think the poster judyweller is on the staff of Alipac nor is she a moderator. I think she's just giving her opinion. Please continue to support Alipac and don't leave just because you disagree with one poster.

    SaveAmerica4u, welcome!

JudyWeller, has had some decent points in the past, but tends to be very outspoken (and a bit insulting at times).

If memory serves me right, during election season in 2008, we who did not hold our noses and vote for McCain (like JudyWeller did) were told by her to stop acting like a "petulant child" for not supporting him. So, the point Im trying to make is: try not to take it personal. Keep going with your views and opinions, and the rest of us will do the same also. We appreciate and need your support.[/quote]

The Examiner like Canadafreepress are simply not reliable sources for information. I don't given them or their writer any credit for factual knowledge for having done research on the subject. They are simply outside the realms of reality and live in cloud cookoo land.

There is simply better reporting out there than the trash both of these papers publish. While you may feel encouraged when you read them and be thrilled with their point of view, that does not mean they have any integrity or that you can give any credit to what they write. Just because you like that is said, doesn't mean that you should put any faith in it. They are simply a marginal press whose writers and their writings should be dismissed as not worth the time to read or who are simply so far outside the real world that they merely write dreams not facts.
