A joint investigation between Huntsville Police Officers and the Recording Industry Association of America has led to the arrest of four men selling copyrighted goods from Huntsville area stores.

Police spokesman Wendell Johnson said Investigators from RIAA were in Huntsville to identify and target boot-leg Latin American music. Police responded to several locations including the La No Che Buena store and the La Favorita store and confiscated a total of 1,500 illegal copies of DVD's and music CD's.

Johnson said the investigation also uncovered numerous prescription drugs that were apparently brought in from Mexico and being sold over the counter.

Johnson said the following people were arrested on Tuesday and charged with illegal possession, selling or renting recorded devices.

Carlos Quiroz Espino, 35, Francisco Javier Medrano, 42, Vicente Chavez, 40, and Jesus Orduna Magueyal, 33, were booked into the Madison County Metro Jail.

The investigation is ongoing and additional arrests are expected.

Absolutely....and so are many of the smaller towns in North Alabama. They're all at the flea-markets on Sunday. If ICE ever wanted to make a bust, that's where to find them!

Most of them are working construction. These contractors love making more money by cutting Americans and hiring cheap illegal labor.
