CBP Seizes More than 2 Pounds of Mushrooms at North Dakota Port

Pembina, N.D. — U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers at the Pembina, N.D. port of entry seized 959.9 grams or 2.11 pounds of psilocybin mushrooms arriving from Canada in a freight truck.

CBP officers discovered the mushrooms in a shipment that was targeted for intensive examination. The shipment arrived at the Pembina port of entry by a commercial truck on August 10, and the subsequent examination by CBP officer revealed the mushrooms destined for Texas.
