    >2/3 of senators facing '08 election voted against bill

More than two-thirds of senators facing '08 election voted against immigration bill

    http://blogs.usatoday.com/ondeadline/20 ... two-t.html

USA TODAY's Eugene Kiely analyzed how the senators who are up for re-election voted today on the president's controversial immigration proposal. Here's what he found:

In 2008, 33 Senate seats are up for grabs and 23 of those senators voted against the immigration bill. On this vote, a "yes" vote was a vote in favor of the bill and a "no" vote was a vote to stop its progress. Supporters needed 60 votes to continue action on the bill.

We need to weed out the ones that would have betrayed us if we had not complained about the bill so much. I believe those who voted YES last time and NO this time only did so to save their butts when their true interests were really in line with what the President wants.
