Tell them to Support Zine's version of Jamiel's Law - this was on Channel 4 this morning

Council Member Zine has announced he will take the steps necessary to
propose a change to L.A.'s "sanctuary city" policy for gang members.
Unfortunately, his proposed amendment is NOT Jamiel's Law, but is
instead a "watered down" version. Still, this is a huge and positive
development. Tonight on the Kevin James Show (KRLA AM 870), Zine said
he would announce in advance the dates of any public hearings. Thank
    you, Council Member Zine.

....take heart...we (Americans) were on the steps of Newark City Hall with many other dedicated and outraged citizens demanding an end to Newark's City Sanctuary policies that allowed illegal alien Jose Carranza and two other criminal aliens to roam free to murder the four black Delaware State university students in Newark last August. Mayor Cory Booker (a friend of Obama) got a lot of public heat and so did his city council. Shortly thereafter the NJ Attorney General, Anne Milgram issued a directive for all law enforcment in NJ to investigate and report immigration status of all people arrested for felonies and other serious crimes. It's not a 287(g) agreement, but it was a very good start and public outcry played a big hand in this. Who is going to stand there and defend dangerous policies that benefit criminal illegal aliens and allow them to terrorize and victimize citizens? It is indefensible and the City leaders know it.
