A 19-year-old illegal immigrant living in Sheboygan Falls was found out after allegedly using a Florida woman’s Social Security number to work at an Oostburg mink farm.
Ramiro Rosales-Rosales, of 6437 Abraham Court, was charged Tuesday with felony identity theft, which carries a maximum prison term of three years, upon conviction.
According to a criminal complaint:
Rosales-Rosales was sentenced to five days in jail Thursday for second-offense operating after revocation and booked into the Sheboygan County jail. There, a corrections officer checked Rosales-Rosales’ Social Security number against the Social Security Administration database and discovered the number belonged to a 45-year-old woman in Florida.
Rosales-Rosales said he got the number from a friend because he is not legally in the U.S.
He had worked at Zimbal Minkery since June 2007.

Doesn't matter. Under the new laws where identity theft is legal he will be able to claim he didn't know he was using a real ssn. He will be acquitted and either allowed to keep the stolen number and/or rewarded with a work permit and released. Case closed

The good news about that SCOTUS ruling is that it doesn't override state identity theft laws.
As long as it's a felony charge in WI, that's what he'll go down for at the state level which makes him eligible for deportation, etc. at the federal level.Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

The case can be appealed through the local appellate courts, then the district courts followed by the Circus Courts of Appeals, and then the Supreme Court who can dismiss the case. Supreme Court decisions form the basis for future legal precedents.
