I WROTE TO North Carolina Republican Party (Linda Daves)AND GOT THIS REPLY
WHEN I WENT TO THEIR SITE TO READ THEIR POSTION ON ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION...I FOUND BOTH WERE AGAINST THE BORDER BILL....

NCGOP Praises Senator Dole and Senator Burr
Chairman Linda Daves Applauds Principled Stand on Immigration

RALEIGH – Statement from Linda Daves, Chairman, North Carolina Republican Party: The North Carolina Republican Party proudly recognizes the efforts of Senator Dole and Senator Burr in ensuring that the flawed immigration bill under consideration in the Senate received the defeat it deserved. We commend both Senators for listening to the people of North Carolina who have made it clear that they will reject any plan offering amnesty to illegal aliens.

Senator Burr is right to point out that we must secure our borders to stop the traffic of illegal immigrants currently flooding into our country. The rule of law must be respected and that is why we agree with Senator Burr that in the immediate future, we must enforce the laws already on the books.
