Top Cartel Member Arrested

MEXICO CITY - A top leader of the Pacific Cartel is now in police custody.

Mexican officials arrested Bernabé Monje Ailva, also known as "M14", and two other men earlier this week.

They say Silva is number four in command for the Pacific cartel.

The two other men arrested, Ricardo DomĂ*nguez Nogal and Jorge Eduardo Pascual Torres, are also suspected cartel members. Officials say they were responsible for helping transport drugs, weapons, and money.

During their arrest officials also managed to seize several weapons including three AK-47s, as well as dozens of rounds of ammunition, and several vehicles.
