McCain, as a major candidate, is also a major LIAR.

I don't really care how long they've broken these laws, gives us no reason to reward them with citizenship. McCain, you blew it.

He has always maintained that the McCain/Kennedy amnesty bill is not amnesty as the illegals would be required to pay a fine of $2,000. He considered that a harsh fine, lolololol.... a strong punishment. Citizenship for sale. You have to watch out for his double talk. He still maintains he is against amnesty.
Let's see, $2,000. fine might cover a month of each illegal's food stamps.

McCain and Kennedy are both LIARS...PERIOD!
2003 McCain talking about "what about those who have lived here 20,30 and 40 years?"
Why worry about them? Why even bring these people up?
Were they not given AMNESTY in 1986 under Ronald Reagan?<div>MY eyes HAVE seen the GLORY... And that GLORY BELONGS to US... We the PEOPLE!</div>

AMNESTY IS AMNESTY. SELLING IT (THROUGH CHARGING FINES) RATHER THAN GIVING IT FOR FREE, DOES NOT CHANGE THE FACT THAT IT IS AMNESTY. IF YOU SELL FOOD OR GIVE IT OUT FOR FREE, IT IS STILL FOOD RIGHT? IF YOU GET PAID TO CARE FOR THE ELDERLY, OR IF YOU VOLUNTEER TO CARE FOR THEM, IT IS STILL ELDER CARE RIGHT? CHARGING MONEY DOES NOT CHANGE ANYTHING.

Isn't 20 to 30 years of living here illegally even more reason to get them out? In all those years they learned nothing about being an American and taking pride in this country. After 30 years they still don't recognize this as a sovereign nation with the right to decide who comes here and when. After 30 years they still believe they, foreign nationals, not only have a right to be here but have a right to "accommodations". After 30 years they have proven beyond a doubt that they are never going to be American citizens. They are going to be citizens of their own country no matter how "legal" the politicos make them. These "lifers" should not be the last to leave, they should be the first.

IF THEY HAVE BEEN HERE 20 OR 30 YEARS, THEY HAD CHANCES TO PARTICIPATE IN PREVIOUS AMNESTIES. THEY DIDNT TAKE THE OPPORTUNITY WHEN THEY HAD IT. THERE IS NO REASON FOR SOMEONE WHO HAS BEEN HERE THAT LONG TO STILL BE ILLEGAL. AND IN MANY CASES THEY HAVENT LEARNED ENGLISH IN ALL THAT TIME EITHER. THEY DONT REALLY WANT TO BE A PART OF THIS COUNTRY, BECAUSE IF THEY DID THEY WOULD HAVE ALREADY DONE THAT. THEY ONLY WANT TO NOW BECAUSE THEY CAN NO LONGER JUST HANG AROUND IN OUR COUNTRY.
