But LULAC's good fortune is none of the National Council of La Raza's.

USPatriot: I don't have a problem with qualified Hispanics getting up the ranks. The only concern I have is a Cuban. I believe that there are some honest ones out there but after seeing the politics in Miami Dade it does make me nervous as I know nothing about this person.

.....it's time that the journalists stop writing reports regarding appointments and accomplishment as something newsworthy or noteworthy simply because the person in question is of a certain race or ethnicity......

...shouldn't a person's accomplishments, advancements be acknowledged simply because of the person's merits? To discuss race, gender and/or ethnicity is to diminish a person's accomplishments...and organizations like LULAC and LA RAZA make all Hispanics look bad.
