Illegal alien finds new home in prison
    Thursday, November 23, 2006
    By Steven Hepker

When critics blast America's porous border policy, they point at guys like Albaro Baltazar.

He has illegally entered the United States from Mexico at least twice, has been deported once and recently committed his second felony in Jackson County.

Baltazar, 28, pleaded guilty to delivering less than 50 grams of cocaine. Prosecutors dropped a charge of maintaining a drug house.

Guidelines called for up to 11 months in jail. On Wednesday, Schmucker sent Baltazar to prison for one to 20 years.

"This does not seem like the path that I would suggest for someone seeking citizenship," Circuit Judge Chad Schmucker said in response to defense attorney Alfred Brandt.

Brandt said immigration reform, a likely subject in Congress in 2007, could give people such as Baltazar a path to legal citizenship in the United States.

Schmucker pointed out that Baltazar was selling drugs, and was not just a user.

"That doesn't sound very good to me," Schmucker said.

The Department of Corrections can release him early only if he is deported to his native country, Schmucker said.

He was kicked out of the country and returned in the past. How do we know that it won;t happen again.

    Sad but True Story

Michelle Malkin, in her book Invasion, recounted a true story of a convicted felon in deportation proceedings. As the proceedings came close to ending, the felon received notification that a naturalization application he had filed years before had been approved.

They couldn't deport him because he had somehow managed to become a citizen despite being a career criminal!

Clinton/Gore pushed a major program to speed up the naturalization process to less than six months in key battleground states where they needed more votes to ensure victory in their reelection. The only way Immigration could comply was to forgo background checks. As a result, tens of thousands of permanent residents with criminal records that should have been deported received citizenship.

Later, the Bush administration tried to undo the naturalizations, but the courts ruled there was no legal way the government could take back the naturalizations because it was the government's fault their applications were approved.
There are immigrants and there are illegal aliens. An immigrant comes here legally, obeys our laws, assimilates, and the only flags an immigrant waves is an American flag. There's no such thing as an illegal immigrant.

People like this scum get citizenship? This is the kind of person we want to be giving citizenship to? This defense attorney can go to hell. This is exactly the wrong type person we should allow into this country, ever. What next, giving citizenship to child molesters, gang rapists, thugs and gang bangers? These lawyers are out of their friggin' minds, unless they don't mind having these illegals come and live with them and their young children. Oh wait, they would never want that. But as long as its our kids, families and neighborhoods getting over-run by masses of these lowlife scum, that's alright by them.

There was a Haitian, in Florida that was to be deported but Haiti wouldn't take him back so the government is looking to find another country to send him to. I am not sure if he was a citizen or not but Haiti wouldn't take him back because he gave up his Hiatian citizenship. I guess that the Haitian vote doesn't matter.

New law allows deportation of naturalized US citizens
    By Anwar Iqbal
WASHINGTON, Jan 5: A new intelligence law, and now a court ruling, have further strengthened the US government's power to strip a person of his citizenship even if he committed the crime after naturalization.

I also remember that people who were considered concentration camp staff during WWII lost their citizenship even if they were tried and found to be innocent.
Recently laws change to strip citizenship due to the threat of terrorism.
