BISBEE ā€” U.S. Border Patrol cameras captured video footage of some actions involving the fatal shooting of an illegal immigrant near Douglas in January, despite a previous claim to the contrary.

Border Patrol agent Miguel Torres-Vasquez shot Jorge Alfredo Solis-Palma, 28, about a half mile south of Geronimo Trail at mile marker 1 east of Douglas on
Jan. 4.

According to accounts of the incident, a rock-throwing Solis-Palma injured agent Neil Hamby and German shepherd Dylan, a 3-year-old certified federal service K-9.
