Carson City — By all appearances, Erika Garcia was a typical, law-abiding Las Vegan.

She worked and stayed out of trouble. In 1997, she married Alberto Rincon, a permanent U.S. resident, and the couple had a child.

But because Garcia de Rincon twice entered the United States illegally from her native Mexico, federal officials have been trying for years to deport her.

An appeal to stop her deportation was rejected last week by the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals, which cited a lack of jurisdiction.

“Other than her unlawful entries into the United States, de Rincon has been law-abiding and productive,â€

DEPORT IT IS MEXICO'S TURN, NOW TO PAY.

Typical lididiot activist judge who would have wiggled out of deportation and even granted permanent residency if there was any we he should have. I'm sure he just couldn't find out the way to do it.

It's rather disturbing when a judge feels compelled to offer excuses for obeying the law.

In 2002, she filed an application for admission to the United States. After a search of federal records showed her 1999 removal from the United States, immigration officials had her immediately arrested and issued an expedited removal order.

When will they understand that they will NOT be able to get legal status if they have a previous deportation order??? She thought that by marrying her husband, that deportation order would magically disappear?

Garcia De Rincon has already returned to Mexico and must wait 20 years before applying to reenter the United States.

Let that be a lesson to all the other ilegal aliens who snub our immigration laws.

1. draconian= long overdue

2. draconian= Don't whine when you are caught

3. draconian = A word a judge hopes you do not understand.

4. draconia = just retribution.
