NEW AGREEMENT HELPS BRING SAFER STREETS TO HOUSTON, SURROUNDING AREA

WASHINGTON, July 10 -- Rep. Kevin P. Brady, R-Texas (8th CD), issued the following press release:

Just months after a March 5th shooting and critical injury of a Houston Police Officer, Congressman Kevin Brady (R-The Woodlands) praised the announcement of an agreement to train local Houston law enforcement to detain and eventually deport illegal immigrants who commit crimes.

"This program will help ensure that illegal immigrants who commit crimes will not be let back into our communities," said Brady.

"Quickly identifying and deporting criminal aliens not only makes the streets of Houston safer, but will help combat the image that Houston is a safe haven for gang members, drug traffickers and other criminals who are in the country illegally."

I just called Congressmen Brady's office in Washington DC and explained that I lived in Sanctuary City Los Angeles and that he is doing the right thing, and that he should continue to fight so that Houston and TX do not end up like CA - where in Los Angeles County we spend 1 BILLION a year (yes this is just one county) on just two items, welfare and foodstamps for illegals.

I urge everyone to call Congressmen Brady's office and the Republican party and tell them that we need more like him and no more like McCain (as in McCain / Kennedy amnesty bill)!

These idiots just don't get it !!!....allowing any illegal to remain in our country constitutes open borders and we the American people are against the practice of Open borders...all illegals must go home to their native country. SECURE OUR BORDERS AND ENFORCE ALL OF OUR LAWS!!!
