Murder warrant issued in La Marque domestic slaying

LA MARQUE, Texas — An illegal immigrant initially wanted for questioning in an apparent domestic killing remains at large, but a murder warrant was issued for his arrest, authorities said Thursday.

Bond for Moises Perez Alvarez, 51, was set at $250,000 on a murder charge. The charge stems from the Monday discovery of his former girlfriend, Faith Worthy Guillory, 45, who was found shot to death in a sport utility vehicle, La Marque interim Police Chief Kirk Jackson said.

Alvarez, who also is known by the name Adrain Delierro, is not a legal U.S. resident, Jackson said. His whereabouts were unknown Thursday, and he was last seen Tuesday morning in the 4700 block of state Highway 6 in Hitchcock, Jackson said.
