    Yes but guess what, 1/3rd of Democrats in the House don't support it. And you just know Obama will propose an even more liberal amnesty than Bush did, making it even harder to pass.

    Yeah, but with the exception of 3 or 4 Democrats, all of the Dems in the U.S. Senate seem to support a legal path to citizenship for illegal aliens. Furthermore, I fully expect those numbers in the House to change after the coming election. It's a fact that some of our allies in the House are retiring this year. Also, all the political pundits are predicting that the Democrats will make serious gains in the Congress this year.

    I can appreciate your optimism on this issue. However, with fewer soldiers (Congress members) fighting on our side, thing are going to get real rough next year. All I can say is fasten your set belts and hold on because it's going to be one hell of a ride! I'm hopeful we'll prevail but I'm not naive enough to ignore the signs.
