    More charges filed in triple fatality at ice-cream shop



    Prosecutors have added charges of child abuse and assault to the list faced by Francis Hernandez, the driver accused in a triple-fatality accident in Aurora.

    Arapahoe County District Attorney Carol Chambers on Monday announced nine new charges on top of those filed last week, saying the case warranted them.

    Hernandez’s attorney, Kallman S. Elinoff, said Chambers has gone overboard and accused her of pandering to the public’s emotions.
