    Illegal immigrants picked up on I-10

    A broken headlight led to the arrest Saturday of five illegal immigrants.

    Orange Police officer Jesse Warner said he was traveling east on I-10 shortly after midnight Saturday when he noticed a maroon Chevrolet pass him in the inside lane. The right front headlight was not functioning on the car, Warner reported as the reason as to why he stopped the vehicle.

    The driver, Marvin Lara, reportedly identified himself to the officer with a Honduras identification card, however, he did not speak English. According to Warner, only two out of the five occupants in the vehicle were able to provide paper identification.

    “I then contacted dispatch and had them contact Homeland Security,â€
