    Mario Villarreal, a spokesman for U.S. Customs and Border Protection, said Border Patrol agents are highly trained, have a good relationship with Texans who own property bordering Mexico and are better left to do their jobs on their own.

    This is one of my all time favorite quotes. I wrote it down in a now scruffy notebook that my husband (a neat freak) would NEVER dare throw away. It means that much to me.
