SAN ANOTNIO -- Federal and local authorities have launched investigations after a Bexar County elections official reported dozens of non-U.S. citizens voted in recent elections.

A report by Bexar County Elections Administrator Jacque Callanen included the names of 330 non-citizens on the voter rolls. Those named had received jury duty summonses but told the court they weren't eligible to serve because they were not U.S. citizens.

Immigration and Customs Enforcement, part of the Department of Homeland Security, requested Callanen's report in an administrative subpoena. And the Bexar County district attorney's office is investigating whether up to 41 of those non-citizens voted in more than a dozen local, state and federal elections since 2001.

"You bet your bottom dollar we'll prosecute ... if we find people voted illegally in violation of the state election code," Bexar County District Attorney Susan Reed said.

The 330 names have since been removed from voter rolls, Callanen said.
Investigators with ICE are trying to locate and interview those named. ICE is looking into false citizenship claims, said agency spokeswoman Nina Pruneda.

Federal authorities also requested similar voter data from election officials in Harris, Tarrant and El Paso counties, Callanen said. But Pruneda, the ICE spokeswoman, declined to discuss the scope of the federal inquiry.
It wasn't immediately apparent if the questionable voting influenced the outcome of an election, Callanen said.

A bill to require voters to show photo identification or two other forms of ID before casting ballots died in the state Senate without a vote.

Democrats claimed the identification requirements would suppress poor and minority voters and vowed to filibuster the bill -- and threaten other bills -- if it ever came up.

Lt. Gov. David Dewhurst and other Republicans argued the measure is needed to combat voter fraud. It had already passed the House.

There were 11 Democrats in the Texas Legislature that refused to allow a bill to pass the Senate that would have required ID at the polling place.

    State Senate Democrats

    Rodney Ellis - Harris County

Mario Gallegos Jr. - Harris County
Eliot Shapleigh - El Paso County
    Carlos Uresti - Bexar County
Leticia Van De Putte - Bexar County
    John Whitemire - Harris County
    Judity Zafrini - Bexar County

7 out of the 11 that voted against the bill are from countries under investigation.

A little math and a little common sense go a long way.

We know they are voting in TX, one illegal alien killed an entire family on the highway and he had a TX voter's registration card.

This must be the votes the Democrats are counting on, as well as the republicans who supported the amnesty bill.

In California, ANYONE can register to vote and there is no system in operation for checking whether the applicant is a legal citizen. So guess why the political candidates support the illegals.

Illegal Immigrants Vote In U.S. Elections

Illegal Immigrants Vote In U.S. Elections
Voter fraud committed by illegal immigrants who actually cast election ballots in one Texas county is more widespread than originally thought and federal authorities have launched investigations into neighboring municipalities.

A few weeks ago election officials in the south central Texas county of Bexar admitted that hundreds of illegal immigrants registered to vote and subsequently cast ballots, canceling out the votes of United States citizens. Now federal authorities are, not only investigating the fraud in Bexar, but also in nearby Harris, Tarrant and El Paso counties.

It turns out that many of the illegal immigrants voted in more than a dozen local, state and federal elections since 2001. This has evidently struck the interest of the Department of Homeland Security because the violators probably filed false United States citizenship claims.

The integrity of the U.S. voting system has been compromised many times in the past with documented incidents of illegal immigrants and non citizens casting ballots. The Federation for American Immigration Reform has tracked numerous instances when non citizens voted in major elections in various states, including California and Florida.

The respected national group says that, although it’s a federal crime for non U.S. citizen to vote in any election—federal or state—there is no evidence of prosecution of the aliens for their action. Under the 1996 Illegal Immigration Reform and Immigrant Responsibility Act, federal authorities can deport an alien who falsely claims to be a citizen in order to vote.

The truth is, however, that the country’s election boards have few controls to prevent illegal immigrants from voting or stop other kinds of voter fraud. This is precisely why many states, including Texas, have pushed for legislation requiring voters to show a valid identification before voting. The laws have met strong opposition from Democrats nationwide who say it would keep minorities and poor people from voting.

In fact, several liberal courts and judges across the country have sided with “minority rightsâ€

New political opportunities for dishonest pols

I worked as a proxy registrar in South Carolina in 2004. When I turned in the voter registrations, I asked the county registrar whether he would be checking them for felons, incompetents, non-residents, duplicates, military registered in other states, or other frauds.

He said, "No, I just take your word for it." He didn't even want driver's license numbers or photocopies.

Why bother renting a school bus and buying cases of pints of whiskey? Any dishonest person with a cemetery registry could take over a small town.

"Anyone who doesn't believe in the resurrection of the dead hasn't been in New Orleans on election day." Or was that Chicago?
One man's terrorist is another man's undocumented worker.

Unless we enforce laws against illegal aliens today,
tomorrow WE may wake up as illegals.

The last word: illegal aliens are ILLEGAL!

Every single official who was put into office during elections where fraud has been found to have occured, needs to be put out of a job until the investigation is complete. Then, all involved need to be prosecuted....illegals as well. This crap of letting them waltz, allegedly because someone had to have put them up to their criminal behavior and therefore they cannot be held accountable for being "victimized, is nonsense.

And, if we, as citizens, can show up in force with camcorders rolling at day labor centers, protests, rallies, etc. then we can sure as hell show up, en masse at polling places, find out where they are and follow those buses of illegals being brought across the border to vote fraudulently, etc. and get it it all on tape. Evidence speaks volumes!!!

    Enough is enough of this.

In California the political districts are drawn to pack most of the "immigrants" into "Democratic" districts. Thus even if immigrants don't vote they get representation. What happens in reality is it only takes 50,000 votes from citizens to elect a Democratic Congressperson, compared to 100,000 needed to elect a Republican Congressperson

So you can look at this two ways. Me as a US Citizen in a Republican district has half as much representation as a US Citizen in a Democratic district. Or non-Citizens have as much representation as me. Either way it is Unconstitutional, it violates the equal representation requirement for US Citizens.

This means both the California and Federal governments are Unconstitutional, since the representatives in them do not equally represent US Citizens. Every law they pass could be challenged as being Unconstitutional on this basis.
