On September 29, Nicky Diaz Santillan, an illegal alien who claims mistreatment by Republican California gubernatorial candidate Meg Whitman, held a press conference with famed attorney Gloria Allred at her side. During the media event, Allred outed her ‘client’ as an illegal alien who was using an erroneous Social Security number, and working in this country illegally.

Reading from a prepared statement, Santillan admitted that she came to this country illegally to escape Mexico’s grinding poverty.

Santillan used a fake Social Security number to illegally obtain a driver’s license, as well as to secure a job, in this case as a housekeeper for Ebay CEO Meg Whitman—a job for which she was paid the rather stately sum of $23 an hour.

While pleading poverty, Santillan is not only being represented by the high-priced Allred, but also by San Francisco immigration attorney and life-long liberal Marc Van der Hout (who was also a member of terrorist supporter Lynne Stewart’s legal defense team).

It is obvious that the Mexican national is being used by publicity hound Gloria Allred and left-wing activist Marc Van der Hout, to help Democrat Jerry Brown secure the election in less than a month. However, it is not so obvious as to why Santillan is actively participating in the event.

While such shameless political chicanery is not unusual, it is more than unusual for someone living and working in this country illegally to admit to their criminal status on national television.

When Allred exposed her own ‘client’ as an illegal alien and displayed documents which opened Santillan to perjury, she very well may have violated California Bar Association guidelines, by publicly admitting the ex-housekeeper’s guilt.

Why would someone as savvy as Gloria Allred commit such a glaring violation, unless she had prior assurance that her ‘client’ would not be prosecuted, nor deported?

So…Just what has this illegal alien been promised by Jerry Brown and the Obama administration?

Will Ms. Santillan be granted legal residency status?...Why hasn’t she been arrested?...Why isn’t she being detained by Immigration and Customs Enforcement?

The answers to all of the aforementioned questions will become obvious after election day.
