    TUCSON, AZ - Fingerprint technology helped federal authorities identify and arrest two previously convicted felons who attempted to re-enter the U.S. Each is now banned for life from all legalization processes within the country.

    Jorge Arriega-Hernandez, 39, and Jose Eleazar Amaya-Garcia have been sentenced to 30 months and 64 months in prison, respectively. They will be formally removed from the country after they serve their complete sentences.

    According to public affairs officials within the Tucson Sector Border Patrol, the Integrated Automated Fingerprint Identification System helped officials determine Arriega-Hernandez had previously been convicted in Fresno County, Calif. for drug-related charges in 2005. He was initially deported after serving 151 days in prison.

    Amaya-GarcĂ*a had previously been convicted in Orange County, Calif. for making terrorist threats toward an individual in 1999.

    Tucson Sector Border Patrol implemented The Consequence Delivery System in January 2011. The program classifies Arriega-Hernández and Amaya-GarcĂ*a as recidivists with a criminal record.

    According to the Tucson Sector Border Patrol, CDS centers on delivering a targeted consequence to undocumented immigrants, disrupting the smuggling cycle, and reducing recidivism rates by ensuring consequences are upheld to the full extent of the law.

    ===================================

    Eyewash, and meaningless. As long as illegal aliens are able to use the social security numbers of their anchor babies to create new identities and hide under the worthless immigration enforcement laws for decades, if not lifetimes, this will go on forever.

    They will be back. Not being able to get citizenship won't phase them.
