The former president Vicente Fox Quesada met with the governor of Arizona, Janet Napolitano, where he asked for respect and worthy treatment for the migrants.

In the Capitol Building of Arizona, Fox Quesada and Napolitano had a "friendly", but "firm" encounter, where the ex-president of the PAN party underlined the need to arrive at an immigration agreement that benefits Mexico and the United States.

During the conversation the ex-president exposed the need to defend the welfare of the people that go in search of work and opportunities and better quality of life.

By means of a communiqué, the Fox Center, detailed that this Center and the RAND Corporation, along with the universities of Emory and of Guanajuato are working in a professional project to give positive solutions to the migratory issue and to do this, as a theme of welfare and development for both countries

During the meeting, Fox Quesada extended an invitation to the American official to visit the Fox Center, as she did during this encounter.
