Fox Wants to Split LatAm

Mexico, Jan 12 (Prensa Latina) The Mexican administration of Vicente Fox´ conflicts with the growing number of progressive leaders show its eagerness to align itself with the United States and split Latin America, La Jornada daily condemned Thursday.

Fox´ different disagreements with the chiefs of State of Cuba, Argentina, Venezuela and Bolivia´s president-elect do not appear to be only the fruits of "silly declarations", but the materialization of a concrete foreign policy program, the publication highlights.

In an editorial referring to the Mexico-Evo Morales issue, which Morales´ offer to Fox to dialogue and "not try to humiliate me or my people" was headlined by media today, La Jornada regrets "the clear verbal incontinence of Fox and some of his followers."

Such behavior has triggered absurd conflicts seriously harming Mexico´s image abroad.

The current administration has set off quarrels and misunderstandings with progressive regional leaders who share two common points of view. First, seeking or exercising sovereignty from the United States and second, trying to devlop more just social relations within their respective countries,
