    Little Village Chamber of Commerce To Announce 2005 Hispanic Heritage Events at VIP Business Luncheon featuring Henry G. Cisneros as Keynote Speaker


    Chicago, IL--(HISPANIC PR WIRE)--August 24, 2005--A VIP Business Luncheon in honor of Hispanic Heritage month, has been organized by La Raza Newspaper to provide a forum for the Little Village Chamber of Commerce (LVCC) to announce their exciting agenda for the upcoming 2005 Hispanic Heritage Month Festivities taking place throughout September.

    The special VIP Hispanic Heritage Business Luncheon will be held at the famous Signature Room on the 95th Floor of the John Hancock building overlooking the beautiful Chicago skyline. The event, by invitation only, will host business and community leaders, politicians, as well as, the media.

    Rafael Romo, news anchor for WBBM (CBS Channel 2) Chicago, will serve as the master of ceremonies. Henry G. Cisneros, will be the Key Note Speaker at the function. This event is being sponsored by Staples and La Raza Newspaper, the Official Hispanic Publication of the LVCC.

    Henry G. Cisneros is currently the Chairman of City View, a community-building company dedicated to the producing workforce homes in the central neighborhoods of America’s urban Areas. Mr. Cisneros is also the former COO of Univision Communications, Secretary of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development and former Mayor of San Antonio for four terms.

    “We are very pleased Mr. Cisneros will be able to join us at the event,� said Salvador Pedroza, President of the LVCC. “It’s exciting to have such a successful Latino address our constituency. He is an inspiration to our community and he is involved in many important programs serving to set an example for our great city,� he continued.

The 26th Street Parade welcomes Joan Sebastian, El Rey del Jaripeo (King of the Rodeo), as the Grand Marshall. Joan Sebastian is a super star singer and composer that actually was a former resident of the Pilsen/Little Village area.     Notice that the mexican independence celebration is on 9/11. La Raza is an illegal operation that the State Department should descend on and shut down.

    I can't understand why they allow 'foreign nationals' that want to overthrow OUR Constitution and laws to have rallies in OUR country . . . nor can I understand why Mexican Presidential candidates are 'kicking off' their campaigns in the United States
