Here's another story of an illegal committing crime in our community. Why does the media insist on calling him a Forest Grove man, instead of an illegal alien criminal from Mexico?:

FOREST GROVE, Ore. -- A Forest Grove man stole one beer while holding a convenience store clerk at gunpoint Monday, police said.

Roberto Pinon-Solis displayed a black handgun at an AM-PM on Tualatin Valley High School, said Detective Pam Yazzolino, of the Beaverton Police Department.

Police said Pinon-Solis told the clerk to put money in the bag with the beer. When the clerk refused, Pinon-Solis grabbed the beer and left the store, driving away toward Hillsboro, police said.

Another employee called police and gave the description and partial license plate information of Pinon-Solis' car. Officers were able to quickly stop the man and take him into custody near Southwest 170th Avenue.

Police said they recovered Pinon-Solis' gun and the stolen beer. The gun turned out to be a replica of a black Beretta handgun, officers said.

Pinon-Solis was booked into Washington County Jail on charges of robbery and theft.
