GOP Rep. freaks out: ‘Illegal aliens have just invaded my DC office’

A group of immigration activists wearing graduate garb stopped by Rep. Steve King’s (R-IA) office on Capitol Hill on Thursday to ask why he wants them to be deported, in a non-confrontation that ended up with King freaking out on Twitter, claiming “illegal aliens have just invaded my DC office.”
The activists are part of a group called United We Dream, the nation’s largest youth-oriented immigration reform organization. They headed to King’s office holding signs that stated their desired professions, forwarded by the word “American.”
Each one of the students falls under the lowest-priority category of undocumented immigrant, under a policy directive issued by President Barack Obama that aims to spare the children of undocumented immigrants from being deported. The directive effectively implements portions of the DREAM Act, which King vehemently opposes.

As about 20 of the activists calmly filtered in to King’s office and requested to speak individually with staffers, the Iowa Republican tweeted: “20 brazen self professed illegal aliens have just invaded by DC office. Obama’s lawless order gives them de facto immunity from U.S. law.”
Photos of the “brazen” group, published on Twitter, show them sitting patiently and waiting their turns to share their views with King’s staff.
In a follow-up, King jeered at the Senate’s so-called “Gang of Eight” members who are pushing for a bipartisan compromise on immigration reform. “You promise border security,” he wrote. “How, when we can’t secure Congress from Obama amnesty? Schumer, McCain, come guard my door.”
In a snarky reply, Twitter user Christopher Moore quipped: “For the love of God, someone help Steve keep the brown people out of his office!!!”

Brazen display.

I don't get it. To get into a government building where I am I had to produce my GC - which was highly scrutinized by the way. How can these people who are here illegally get into Congressional offices? WHY are they so special?

Illegal aliens are not IN THE SHADOWS!!

All they had to do was take the test to be citizens like everyone else did, but NO they even let their families be split up. God forbid their law breaking parents learn English and take the test too. I remember an article where everyone wore white. They were praying and crying not to be deported. How PATHETIC !!! And where is all their money coming from to travel to different states to protest all the time? FROM AMERICANS OF COURSE. I DO NOT WANT THESE LOSERS IN MY COUNTRY. DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT Where is their pride for their own country? What a joke they are. Why do you think you have to fight so hard? Because this is NOT your country and you don't have rights HERE. In photo love the fists in the air and the future angry lawyers whose education we will pay for who will turn on us. Read the comments at the source link. The DREAMERS can't write a sentence without name calling, swearing or trying to make this issue all about racism. Their expressions in the picture and the words they use show us their true agenda and that they think they are above everyone else especially American citizens. They should be kissing the ground and thanking Obama for their fake amnesty instead of bothering Steve King. Of course we all know thank you is a foreign word to them.

It looks to me like the word American in their signs should have the word Whining in front of it.

So Mr.king what you got is just the cry babies...now come down and take some walks oh heck take your wife out for an evening walk in a town that was safe six months ago and see what the illegals bring to the American people ...you may want to call them something different..I know you have tried to speak up but you need to tell them that they won't be living with them we will, you need to get stories from us you need to take you're senators out to the places the illegals prowl!

Rep. Steve King has told Breitbart News that illegal immigrants attempted to take over his Washington, DC office on Thursday. "They openly defy our laws," Rep. King exclusively told Breitbart News. "It's the most brazen lobbying I've seen since I entered Congress."

Rep. King also told Breitbart News that illegal immigrants were invited into a hearing of the House Judiciary Committee this week, with some being introduced by Ranking Member Rep. John Conyers. "If we can't secure the House Judiciary Committee from illegal immigrants," King said, "how can we secure the country?"

King told Breitbart News he is working to get a special GOP conference convened to discuss options for immigration reform. House GOP Leadership have not yet committed to a meeting to work out their position on reforming the immigration system.

King expressed concern that House GOP Leadership would move any legislation that passed the House closer to the Senate proposal in conference. "The fight is now," King said.

Heard Rep. King on Hedgecock's show today. He even called Chris Crane, head of i.c.e. union, and Chris said there was nothing he could do about it, orders from the top to leave them alone. Illegals allowed to wander around in-your-face to members of congress with demands. Only in America it seems!
