No Funding for Raza Development in Foreclosure Act

I recently made a phone call to the office of Congressman Barney Frank in regards to the funding for the La Raza Development Fund that was in legislation a month or so ago.

    here is the reply----

Thank you for contacting me with your concerns about the housing funds initially provided for the Raza Development Fund in the Housing Rescue and Foreclosure Prevention Act, which, as you know, I sponsored in my capacity as chairman of the house financial services committee. There were earmarks inserted into the bill for several organizations, including LaRaza, and in moving forward the committee decided it was inappropriate to include these funds in the larger housing bill, The funds have been removed and will not appear in any future version of the legislation as it moves forward in the senate and in conference

    Barney Frank
    4th District,
    State of Massachusetts

Good News, but I'm quite certain they will slip it into another bill to make sure "the Race" gets their taxpayer funding. Keep your eyes and ears open.

That is great news that needs to be publicized.....but you are right..these "La RAZA" type organizations are just chomping at the bit to get their hands on any fed/state funds to create jobs for themselves and their ethno-supremacist employees as well as to use taxpayer funding to provide self-serving "services" to illegal aliens....heck, La RAZA's supporters like BOA, Wachovia, CITIGROUP and other financial institutions are the very ones at fault for giving mortgage loans to illegal aliens under terms and conditions that virtually assured the loans would fail ..and now LA RAZA wants taxpayers to clean up the mess they helped to create.

Just say NO MAS to La RAZA. I don't think I ever would hear myself say this...but...thank you, Mr. Frank!

This is great news!! Not too long ago, La Raza would have gotten their funding, no questions asked, granted by those not wishing to be on the other end of name calling and other intimidation tactics. Things are now not being made so easy for them.

And it shows. All it takes is but to listen to how infuriated they are and watch as they try anything in attempt to regain the control they once had, in order to see that things are no longer going their way.

I also don't think we should be surprised to find that some of the corporate funding they have been receiving being reduced or cut off in the not too distant future.

Either way, we need to keep up the momentum and not stop until they are completely cut off from government funding of any sort.

Strange when you talk to these corporations and question their funding these organizations, then send them the info on what they've been funding. You can hear the breath intake.

Faye...perhaps you just came up with a brilliant idea....maybe these companies "diversity" officers, and "minority outreach" coordinators need to start hearing from the American public and their customers about their support of racist, radical ethno-supremacist groups like the National Council of La RAZA and its 500 AFFILIATES including Mexican "AZTEC" Charter schools ...

Just say NO MAS to LA RAZA. Si se puede!

Thank you Shad.....I appreciate the compliment.

I realize that this mess is far from over and it's going to be a bumpy road, but I think we need to maintain some level of optimism and celebrate even the smallest of victories because, realistically, that is most likely how this fight is going to be won....through a series of small victories. After all, we didn't get into this mess overnight, I don't think we can expect to extract ourselves from it overnight either.

So, until and unless, something major and unpleasant occurs which will force our government to toss foreign relations and all diplomacy out the nearest window, the small steps forward are what we've got.

And, why shouldn't we be happy with those? After all, we're the ones who have fought to bring them about.......right?
