Unfortunately nobody cares. Today's world is full of ME - ME People with the attitude, I left the house late, but it's your fault that the road is congested. So Get Out of My Way.

They give tickets to drivers without seat belts but not while driving with a Cell Phone. If you're driving without your seat belt buckled you're endangering your our life. If your driving while you're on a cell phone you're endangering the lives of everyone around you.

It's become a National Past Time - Driving while on a Cell Phone. One night while walking the distance of four blocks in Moorestown I counted
13 drivers out of about 30 who were on a phone driving west on Main Strret. I walked back on the opposite sidewalk and I counted 11 on cell phones coming in the east direction.

NO Body cares, especially Law Enforcement. Just look at all those vehicles parked at apartment complexes in NJ with PA Tags -Most of them Illegal Aliens without Insurance. Look at all the vehicles with out of date Inspection Stickers. I seen everything. Vehicles with PA Tags and NJ Inspection Stickers, Vehicles with NJ Tags and out of date PA stickers. NJ inspection stickers that were three and four years out of date.

Drivers who do those kind of things on purpose are also hiding other things. We live in a Lawless Society, just remember those brothers that were living in Cherry Hill that were in the Plot to Attack Fort Dix. Over 75 violations and they were still driving. Take a slow ride down Federal Street in Camden if you dare and look at the Tags and Inspection Stickers on vehicles.

I'd take pictures and then march into the Chief of Police and want to know why this is not being taken care of. I think we as Amercians are now going to have to be very active with situations like these. For too long we've (myself included) said "well what can you do" I know I don't let anything slide now. While on the highway recently I saw someone weaving all over the road while on a cell phone. I pressed my Onstar and reported him/her. Two miles later they were pulled over. Talking on cell phones while driving makes me crazy. How important do you think you are that the call can't wait. Or are you just so insecure that you can't be in you own head without talking to someone for a car ride?

I remember one time in LA I was waiting at a stoplight (on my motorcycle) and a traffic officer on a motorcycle was right next to me. Well the light turned green and we were about to head out when a car ran the red light right in front of us. I flipped up my visor and screamed at the cop aren't you going to do something about that? He said: "I'm off duty, I'm going home, if I cited everyone I'd never get home."

Same thing here in DE...apartment complex parking lots full (and overflowing onto the streets) of cars bearing PA plates.

When citizens in the nearby town of Elsmere began demanding that something be done about this problem the local police began recording the of state plate numbers of cars parked in the residential areas. When they began ticketing these vehicle after 60 days (you have 60 days to transfer out of state tags in DE) the OBL groups converged on the town with the usual accusations of "racial profiling" and threatened to sue. Needless to say, the jerk posing as the chief of police folded immediately and the ticketing ceased.

Sickening, absolutely sickening.

Take heart GreyParrot a lot of people do care and are doing their best to turn things around.We just have to vote wisely in 2008 and remove those who don't !!
