Other polls have found that the more Americans know about it, the less likely they are to support it.

Just the opposite of what Bush and McCain were telling us.

I was a participant in a grassroots, local radio talk-show host, demonstration last night in Atlanta, Ga that had hundreds and hundreds of people attend.

Among the people present were family members of an 16 year old boy who lost his life in a car accident and his mother who is confined to a wheelchair because of said accident (she was there too).

We have lost a dear and close friend to murder at the hands of one of the invaders, but nothing compares to their loss.

Our friend - who was supposed to be in our wedding party - was stabbed in the heart and bled to death on his front stoop. The invader got Aggravated Assault and a really light sentence because the defense attorney called racism...he was a black man and one of the least racist people I have ever met.

There are so many other reasons that we are FOR the laws being enforced in our country than the ones listed above. My husband and I attended the first protest in our lives last night...and we were there when it was announced live on the air that the bill was defeated. At least for now...but it was one of the MOST INCREDIBLE EXPERIENCES of my life to be with those people, at that moment.
