Immigration and Customs Enforcement data received through a Freedom of Information Act request shows that Secure Communities, a federal immigration enforcement program, detains and deports people who are not criminals. #
In a press release issued last week, the National Day Laborer Organizing Network indicates that: #
“Nationally, 1 in 4 people deported under S-Comm haven’t been convicted of any crime. That ratio jumps to over 50% in Palm Beach, in Miami, and in multiple examples across the country[,]â€NO AMNESTY

If they are here illegally, they certainly are criminal and must be deported. I don't care how they are found or caught, they need to be sent back to their home countries.

I know that in South Florida they get alot of people who have overstayed visas and thsoe who violate the terms of a student visa if they go to colleges and universities who play by the rules such as the University of Miami, Florida International University, and Broward College. The majority of illegals that get arrested here are for driving without a valid driver's license, and sometimes hit and run, DUI, and providing fake ID. Lately many have even been caught with possession of marijuana or cocaine. Those guys often get deported quickly since they don't serve alot of jail time. The ones who commit violent crimes stay in jail for a long time or get life sentences because when they used to deport them quickly they would pay the jails or police off in their countries and come back here.
