California conflicted on immigration
This article explain the situation in CA quite well. In a way, we should be split into two states: North/Central and South (except LA but it's gone anyway). Seems kind of odd, doesn't it, that most Reps are south by the border.

California conflicted on immigration
LOS ANGELES A poll finds Californians conflicted about illegal immigration.
The Field Poll finds three-quarters of voters who were surveyed support allowing some illegal immigrants to become U-S citizens. But it also finds 60 percent support tough penalties for employers who hire workers without documents.
The telephone poll also finds nearly two-in-three state voters don't think illegal immigrants should get driver's licenses. Voters were about evenly split on whether illegal immigrants who graduate from California high schools should be able to go on to college at in-state tuition rates.
The poll also found stances on immigration closely follow ethnic, political and geographic lines.
Latinos, Democrats and independent voters tended to take more moderate positions toward illegal immigrants. Republicans and people in Southern California outside of Los Angeles favored harsher measures.Support our FIGHT AGAINST illegal immigration & Amnesty by joining our E-mail Alerts at https://eepurl.com/cktGTn

Apparently wanting a sovereign America and enforcing the law is extreme. Just call me an extremist![b]Civilizations die from suicide, not by murder.

I'm a Californian, ex- Democrat (registered Independent), Los Angeles native and resident.
Who in their right mind would be conflicted about depressed wages, destroyed school system, disease, crime, and a host of other third world poverty exports from PRIMARLY Mexico?
I suggest we treat illegal aliens EXACTLY the same as Mexico treats illegal aliens in Mexico from Central America.
It cracks me up how these folks try to use the "White Guilt racism ploy"....NEWS FLASH! I'm NOT WHITE nor racist.
Last time I checked illegal aliens came in all colors...BUT PRIMARILY FROM MEXICO!!
Attrition is the ONLY option!
