Thread: China: Little girl run down by truck ignored by passer by

In America the sight of this happening would bring a rush of responders stricken with grief and concern.

In communist China, dozens of people ignore this little girl as more than one truck runs over her.

This is the typical response of an average GLOBAL CITIZEN. Globally speaking , there are more where she came from. The older I get the less confidence I have in Humanity. It seems to be the case that the only difference between some of us and animals is the capacity to feel disgust for members of our own species.

Shocking, sad and disgusting!

From other discussion boards it appears that if someone calls an ambulance, they are the ones that have to pay for it. I don't know if that is one of the reasons for their not doing anything or what, but man! I can't that vid outta my head! That poor innocent little thing! I can't imagine ignoring such a thing!!!!!!!!!

I heard about this on talk radio so I didn't watch. I know it would break my heart! The radio host said that recently, a man helped someone get to the hospital, and Chinese courts ruled that he wouldn't have done that unless he was somehow responsible, so they made him pay 40% of the person's hospital bill! They also made the point that it is the culture there not to get involved and help, especially if it's a woman or child needing help!

Ive heard these stories before about people walking by the body of a dead baby in the streets of China all day without reaction.

I believe this is the well ordered yet morally pathetic state of mankind once conditioned in a Godless authoritarian regime.

And these are the people we are paying for half the things in our households?
