    SHELBYVILLE, KY (WAVE) - Shelbyville police are asking for help from the public to catch a man they say is connected to a murder two years ago.

    Police say they believe Salomon Gomez shot and killed 17-year-old Joel Mena in Shelby County in 2009. They believe Gomez then fled the country. Police think Gomez could be back in metro area.

    A reward is being offered for information to his arrest. If you have any information, call the Shelbyville Police Department at 502-633-2326.
